Venetia is one of the most trusted associates of a powerful bondage media queen and slavemistress by the name of Miss Veronica. Growing up, Venetia always got straight As, and wasn't very popular - not because she was a geek, but because she was extremely rude and narcissistic. However, she was secretly practicing to use strange powers she developed when she was a little girl. These powers allowed her to defy physical and chemical reasoning, such as freezing fire or altering chemical elements.

After graduating college, she became a scientist and opened a chain of jewelry stores worldwide, changing mere rocks into various precious gemstones. Miss Veronica located Venetia and decided to hire her in exchange for a share in her profits. Venetia and Miss Veronica seemed to have quite a few things in common, which also helped Venetia rise in the ranks to become one of Miss Veronica's most trusted associates.

Recently, Miss Veronica had discovered that Venetia had been hiding a large amount of profit and abducting her slaves to be used as test subjects. This angered her, and she thought of an excellent way to teach Venetia a lesson. She had Venetia enter a tournament, saying she's entered a similar tournament in the past (though neglecting to mention she entered by controlling the mind of another). Miss Veronica told Venetia to look for potential slaves while in the tournament, but never warned her of the tournament's true purpose...
