Beautiful picture, Sir Paul. It conveys the idea of the speed and luxury of the 'largest moving object built by the hand of man'. Pity that the delivery of the binoculars never arrived in time for the lookouts up in the crow's nest so that they could have them on this April night.
*nods in agreement* The lack of binoculars, her speed, the crew's inexperience with the way the new ship handled, the "millpond" smoothness of the ocean that prevented any breaking of waves at the base of the berg which would have resulted in a ring of whiteness making the berg more visible from a distance, and even the way Titanic hit the berg -- a glancing scrapping slashing collision along her side instead of a head-on.
Everything seemed against Titanic.
Sad.

Nice attempt, you did a good job. You have potential to improve.
Maybe my MS Paint Titanic can inspire you. http://lex-the-pikachu.deviantart.c.....tanic-93879370

Truth be told, Britannic was the first to become as detailed as that Titanic pic, my original Britannic pic was more like a cheap Titanic convertion, someone was kind enough to give me a plan pic he did of Britannic and i used his plan to completely overhaul my Britannic pic, Titanic and Olympic followed after.
This is a really well painting.
I hate to nit pick, but since studying Steam Ships is a huge past time of mine, I have to make an observation: smoke coming out of the 4th stack? The fourth smokestack was a fake facade; to give the illusion that the Titanic was a stronger ship. It had no functionality.
However, it is an excellent drawing of the Titanic.
