Readers cannot read the story in this format. Repost it as a .rtf, a normal .doc, or a .txt encoded in UTF-8 format and then you'll get some readers.

Yeah it works, to get rid of all the ? marks, encode it in UTF-8 format. Use past tense instead of present. Don't just tell through the first person, let his perception, senses, and the world interact for them. Everthing needs to bounce off the first person speaker for scene to build. Also use more character description. This will let the audience see and now the face of the character.

When you save it a .txt open it up again. Go to save as and when you do a there will be a drop box called encode. Select UTF-8 format and save it again.

Hmmm weird. That’s usually the issue. Well, .RTF is the universal assessable but doesn’t appear on the site like .txt. That choice is up to you man.
