After posting yesterdays studies of the Move to the Music! girls
xxxPiffxxx asked whether I had pictures of them playing DDR. Well I just by chance happen to have just that picture here in my collection! Already to start dancing we see Rhythm getting her settings set up and making her selection for her first song. Beat looks like she's taking a break, and Melody is waiting her turn. Harmony looks like she's got work to finish before can play though. FYI. the dance pad is roughly based off a real handheld DDR pad. Image size roughly 14"x 17" medium color pencil with some marker, gouache, and micron pen.

Actually, there is a little dance pad like that. About mouse sized. It came out with... the game boy version of DDR, and a tiny dance pad was included. You were supposed to place it over your directional buttons to play the game.

You know going through all your artwork is nice. Let's me see all these cool pictures and while I may not fav many of them. It is nice to see the style and artwork improve through the years.
I had this silly image pop inside my head of these four in a fun house where all the mirrors distort your image, and the four of them standing in front of those mirrors that make you look huge, and while I I know it is not realistic, seeing the reaction of their larger friends to seeing their tiny friends suddenly so massively large.
