pfft gem stone dragons they hate me ... I have been trying for 3 months to actually breed one and i have more moon and sun dragons then i can count but no Gems

Not sure if you've been just trying all of them or if you've been targeting the ones that are specific to the month. If you're trying to get any of the gem dragons besides the month's stone, you're wasting your time because they just aren't available.

yes I know I have only been going for that months gem dragon and I try all month long ... this month currently im working on the river dragon since your supposed to put it with the iceberg one to get the aquamarine dragon... lol pretty sure I wont get one or the other before the month is up but never say never

When talking to the first dragon and getting a gem, he almost said how they are made.
Which is the same way as this comic.

Anyway, I heard this theory on "Flight of Dragons," which I'm sure you've seen, being a dragon enthusiast.

The gemstones are actually used as grit in the dragons craw/gizzard, which crunches up limestone, giving them "fuel" for their fire breath.

For those of you who are old enough (or interested enough to do some research) this reminds me of Lunar: Silver Star Story, the game for the Sega Genesis.

In that, the main character and his friends go in search of the "Dragon Gem". They eventually get to the heart of the cavern it's found in, and find a huge white dragon. They challenge it, saying, "Give us the Dragon Gem, or else!" The dragon goes, "I don't get it... why do you humans always want those things? Don't you know they're made from my shi..... oh nevermind~!" xD

I named my Garnet Dragon Narcolept cause he always falls asleep, haha.

I've got Sun, Seasonal, Current, Frostfire, Platinum, and Aquamarine left to get before I've got 'em all. I've been stuck at around having 5 - 7 left because every time I get one, they come out with another one =b
