That's very true. Do you still own any? I'm kinda curious as to parts availability on the 1st-gen 3SGTEs these days. There were a few things I remember having trouble getting almost ten years ago, especially stuff like oil cooler seals.

Hmm. Actually, even though I don't have one yet would you be willing to keep an eye out for the front 'GT-FOUR' badge on the ST165? It's pretty much unobtainium here and I would pay handsomely for one. Even if I don't have one anymore, it'd be great to get a hold of.

the gtfour bades are a pain to get too as my prefacelift had one but this is a bit of a bitsa it has preface bits but facelift motor and box and a bitsa grille

True... there was a guy on Alltrac.net several months ago that said he was making a 3D model of his and planning on making copies with a 3D printer, but that never came to fruition.

I did save the Toyota grille badge from my old '165, and might see if I can't take an idea to have a badge made from that base. If I had a background in CAD it wouldn't be too hard, but unfortunately I don't. Heh.

i had a spare grill at one point it had the 4wd badge

Finally got my paws on another '165. I pretty much won the lottery with this one; only 35K mi/55K km on the clock and mostly original other than suspension and exhaust. :D
