Violet has out done herself disguising Allie as a girl. Maybe she went a bit too far, but then the way she looks this is not a cheap date that is happening.
Once again Joe went all out on this piece after being a little reluctant to try it.
Just look at the details on both outfits, heck, Allie's stockings alone with their decorative designs and gray wash are fantastic touches.
But also look at the fact that he actually drew Allie in the outfit. Drawing a character crossdressed it's easy to just draw a girls body and hair and add a male face. But here look at the proportions on the legs and the shoulders. He even added a little height since Allie seems to be in higher heels (which I'd predict will give him trouble.)

And this brought out my inner Allie as the Wildlifers character whom I could relate to and appreciate, despite my personal fursona being a fox. Allie at his cutest, especially since, like you said, he still has a bit of a male face. Reading the fan-story behind the two artworks was an adorable work, too, with Violet's date being Gabriel, briefly hinted at in an actual story, and the fan-made Chris the deer for Allie, and the hilarious outcome. Thanks for posting this one. :)
