Hey everyone, I know I've been pretty quiet and inactive for quite some time. That's because of a few things...for one, working 2 jobs keeping me busy 7 days a week and also college so my free time is gone mostly.
Then with fat cat here who died January 25th after being with me over a decade kinda hit hard. Anyone that chats with me knows how much I adored Sanka. He would've been 13 a month from now. His brother, Maxwell, passed on 3 years ago already, so the fat one was what I had left. Turns out it was liver failure. What got me most was being there with him when he finally passed on.
Oh and the other cat, not in the picture, was a black cat stray staying at a friend of mom's. I figured, I guess I could go see him. For a few weekends I got to visit and play with him for a bit, started to cheer me up. Well trained for one and very people friendly. I just couldn't think of a name for him. Then the day I finally got to take him with me, I had him to the vet for his shots and check the limp in his left leg...
Feline leukemia and Cat AIDS (or something of the equivalent) so the 1 hour I actually owned him, was just driving him to the vet and waiting on test results. Yeah, that went over well, left with a $300 hole in my pocket and a deeper hole in my heart. I ended up coming up with the name Shade so I could say 'Night Shade' just once.
Same day, I ended up getting a kitten. 4 months old and very energetic. I'll share more of him later. So I'm not dead, just busy and will ge to posting some stuff when I get something to draw up.
