This one is from YEARS ago, when I was still drying to deal with the loss of a dear friend, Loni, from FurryMUCK. Her Player had a stroke and, while still alive and making it through life one day at a time, my beloved lioness has been torn forever from my arms.


Thinking back, it was the loss of Loni that started the transformation of Eric Adler's online persona from an intellectual, wisecracking make into a slutty herm.

I remember a line I used to use online when furs would ask for a commitment from me, "I can give my body, but my heart belongs to another, my mind must forever be my own, and my soul is being held as collateral on my student loans."

As you can see, my heart belonged to Loni, and in a sense, it still belongs to her, since I'm .... still afraid to let myself get so emotionally attached to others.
