Indeed it does! That's half the fun of having rats. What's healthy for us is healthy for them. So stay away from fat, sugar, and high protein and you can pretty much give them some of whatever you're cooking. Our ratties don't even seem to mind spicy food, so lentil based curries are a favorite ^..^
