I'm more of a nerd, I can mouth the entire movie as it's playing, and know quite a lot of trivia about it. (Like, in the beginning, the mall is called "Twin Pines Mall" but after Marty runs over one of the pines in 1955, it becomes "Lone Pine Mall" when he returns to 1985, or that November 5, 1955 was (by coincidence) writer Bob Gale's father's 33rd birthday)

The lightning struck November 12, 1955. (Marty arrived on Nov 5th, because Doc metioned that's the he came up with the flux capacitor on Nov 5, 1955 when he input the destination on the DeLorean time control kepad)
