What? Psion posting a female character that doesn't have a fat ass? What foul blasphemy is this this? =P
Anyway, when skimming the FA forums I encountered Myinae, an artist that recently returned after a long absence doing real life things. They were offering free requests and I managed to grab one. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this pic. Her hair's supposed to be red, not pink, but other then that... this IS Sharon Aurin, resident gearhead of the Winter Princess.

Bio: Born on the frontier world of New Los Angeles, Sharon grew up having a fairly quiet life on one of the more industrialized worlds on the fringe of the Terran Alliance, unremarkable except for learning to take part in the family's repair shop.
That changed when the Albelion pirate Bloodclaw attacked her homeworld. The citizens on the ground barely recovered their senses after the initial planetary bombardment when the raiding parties descended on them. Sharon was one of the "lucky" ones who would be taken aboard Bloodclaw's warship as a slave.
During a major slave riot, the young woman managed to steal an escape pod and earn her freedom. It was a bittersweet victory as many of her friends were cut down in the fighting and the things she endured during her bondage would haunt her for a long time.
Picked up by an Alliance Naval Patrol, she returned to find her home in ruins and her family dead. With nothing left, she tried to enlist in the Alliance Marine Corps and was rejected on grounds of "questionable mental competence." Out of options, she became a drifter, doing repair work and the odd salvage job to get by. Eventually, one of her contacts on New Chicago introduces her to a certain Nijorn merchant...
Strengths: Gifted engineer and general techie, skilled in the "junk merchant" trade. And as of the current rewrite (the one that I'll probably try presenting to a publisher,) she's the only one on the Winter Princess who knows how to fight despite not being formally trained in combat.
Weaknesses: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Trust/Control issues, Alcoholic, Prejudice (Albelions)
