You can see two noticeable differences when compared with the first photo of this I put on here during the week. First the handlebars. I put the original drop down road bike style handlebars back on it, also the rear rack has been removed.

I refitted the dynamo powered bicycle lamps, well I had identical lamps which were far cleaner so I swapped those over, they work perfectly. Straightened out the rear wheel as best I could, tightened up the bottom bracket bearings and replaced the rear gear cable.

Well, I didn't really need to change the rear gear cable as the gears worked fine, but the cable was rather frayed and damaged in a couple of places and I figured I'd change it while I was working on it cause otherwise I'd just have to do it another day when it finally goes.

You can;t see it well in the photo but when you get up close it does show it's age in the paintwork. But as along as I don't decide to sell it, I'll give it a nice new paint job myself.
