This is my fursona, my leading character in my story, and a dear friend who has helped me find myself throughout his long journey. This is, TidalRes!

his story is a long one, and i will ever have it all written down, but i can give a quick summery :)



A human (we shall call him "R") was at the beach one day. about 14 years old. seeing something glimmer in the beachfloor, R swam towards it and was sucked into a different world. weilding a mystic blade from a fallen hero, R journey different worlds with his friends Link and Yoshi. He learned the depth of his power, learning all kinds of different attacks and ablities, and learning to use the water element. he had been killed many times, only to be brought back to life because he was needed to fend off the darkness on other worlds. he slowly began to lose his body, and had to resort to bonding his soul to a suit he could wear. he had to accept that he was no longer human and assume a new identity.

donning a blue cloak to cover his body and the Mask of truth to hide his face, R became Tidal. Weilding the Ripper, he grew and traveled to different worlds with his teammates who in turn had gotten new identities compared to the original ones. With Link using fire and ice, and Yoshiro using wind and shadow, they fought off the Heartless. one day, a dark meteor fell from the sky and covered their own world with brutal Heartless. Yoshiro gave his life in order to protect his friends, and wore out his soul.
Tidal, seeking revenge, started to explore and research, hoping to stop these meteors that were falling all over the different worlds he had been to. In an effort to stop a meteor from hitting his world once again, he faced it head on and managed to stop it from spawning more Heartless, though killing himself in the process. Link then too, gave his life protecting soldiers without Yoshiro and Tidal.

Years later, Tidal awoke in a dark and strange place. he had been reborn.
his whole body was dark, and he couldnt see. he had a blindfold over his eyes and a small black coat that hid most of his body, though his skin was visible for the first time since he was human. and he truly was human again, or at least mostly. He remembers wanting to live again in order to put an end to the man who betrayed him by sending him to destroy the meteor, which he had sent himself. kept alive only by the law that he shall die when his work is finished, he finds his new name: Echo. Weilding a dark keyblade, Echo has control over darkness and can use it to summon, attack with magic, and use basic alchemy. Upon defeating the betrayal king, Echo finds that he has a chance to live again. he must give up everything, and cut his ties with all that he knows, including everyone he knows. one by one, Echo travels to familiar worlds and sets it in flames, killing only the world he had made in his mind, the "true" world still existing in a place beyond his reach. Going to a special world composed of his past life and experiences, Echo faces himself and the multiple personalities he had in his past, leading to a final fight with Tidal in his full form: Monsoon. tossing his blindfold to the side and revealing yellow slitted eyes, Echo uses the best of what hes learned from his past against Monsoon. They are the same, except Echo cannot use water, but is condensed and stable where Tidal is bezerk and tires easily. Echo defeats Tidal on the site of his own grave. Echo fades into darkness as he accepts what is to happen next. he is unsure if he will truly live, but doesnt care. he doesnt want to fight anymore.... he just wants to start over and be himself.....

An unknown amount of years later, Echo is reborn.
choosing his form while he was being reborn, he is the image of a Lucario, yet branding the black blindfold Echo wore over his forehead, using it as a headband and sole reminder of his past. Unsure of what to call himself, he dons the name TidalRes to declare the new chapter in his life. First it was R, then he began to realize his power. the first chapter then, is Tidal Revelations. Upon death, he wanted to tie up all loose ends and send one final message; Tidal Echoes. and now, reborn into his own person, with his own body, with his own soul, with his own powers, he sets out to better himself and to learn of his potential; Tidal Ressurection. weilding two weapons: Rebirth and Ascension (the great Fairy sword and the Double Helix sword) and capable of using alchemy and elemental aura, Res travels the world, creating his own story instead of popping into others. in time, he will be accompanied by 3 others: Jolt; his former rival and best friend from his time as Echo. Valarie: his former wife who has no memory of his time as Tidal. and the most important of all; Ashanriu; his master and most dearest friend, the closest to his heart.

In a sense, there is a lot of sadness behind those perky eyes, but theres also excitement and joy; knowing that he can create his own story now, and is off to a fresh start. Res is determined and has a drive to succeed stronger than he has ever had. With his faithful master at his side, Res will lead the best life he possibly can :)
