A lot may not know it but i'm working on a sci fi novel! I won't get into details about it here but this character is one of the many alien races in the book and her race is called Kalasian's and she goes by the name Vlasta, as Ex-Kalasian Ranger and infamous gun for hire.

The Kalasians are one of those rare few races that look humanoid but aren't -quite-. Their odd looks tend to cause some measure of aversion and even disgust in less accustomed humans, but they're actually one of the least xenophobic species in the galaxy. Though the two heads each one has would make one think each Kalasian is two people sharing a body, this isn't correct--a Kalasian simply has two heads and two brains, but still a single mind. Of course, having two brains means they are able to reason faster and multitask much better than most races, which is why their claim of the fastest technological advancement of all species in the galaxy is widely regarded as true. Kalasian mercenaries often cite this as reason to hire them, alongside the fact that they have much better hearing, vision, and sense of smell than most species, allowing them to more easily sense the presence of an enemy or hear cries for help. However, a Kalasian's lower head lacks these traits, and actually has slightly worse senses than a human.

in my book i want some aliens to actually look alien but also alien and freaky in some way and this race here fits the bill.
