A wizard named Rob invents a growth potion to help out the villagers with their poor harvest. He tested the new potion on his assistant and friend, Firith, a western, green-scaled little dragon, who always wanted to be a bit bigger. However, due to some miscalculations, the situation goes out of control. Really, really out...

I love how in this story know of the characters hurt each other and actually take steps to avoid crushing everybody. I also like how you get the nostalgic reversal at the end with the super mega cosmic dragon planet god actually enjoying being smaller for a change. I also like that you didn't just abandon the rules when you wanted to rush to cosmic sizes.
I loved it, and I surprisingly enjoyed the dragon-rob character even more than Firith, though he wasn't a growing participant until much later. Something about getting a growth trigger from compliments... unbelievably sexy... Best Trigger! Though I bet it was hard to write for. And I was Very happily surprised by the results of 'the plan' Rob came up with to more than return to the growth race, after disturbingly falling so painfully far behind. But BOOM! nice nice (open)ending.
