Furnal Equinox 2013 - Rukis Sketch
One of the guests of honor at this year's Furnal Equinox was 
rukis and so 
deranged and I got in on a joint sketch with her. The scene is from my Metamor Keep (http://metamorkeep.com) story "Parlay" (http://metamorkeep.com/story/Parlay1.php). The story is about a festival in the woodland town of Glen Avery to celebrate the Vernal Equinox and the return of Spring. One of the events is the drinking of a special wine made by the local brewer; this wine is named Caribou and is inspired by the wine we had the time we went Sugaring Off back in 2001 I think.
Anyway, in this scene, Charles (the rat) and Rickkter (the raccoon), who have had a long running feud because they come from rival clans in their homeland, somehow ended up on opposite sides of the table, and neither one is going to let the other drink more Caribou than they do! You can imagine what is going to happen as the night wears on. I plan on making this into a sequence of what happens to these two characters, with different artists contributing over the course of the next few cons.
And note that this story takes place before my character received the handprint scar over his face.
