Scampy still lives with my grandparents, he's helped them so much.
While my grandmother was in the hospital undergoing extensive heart surgery, double/triple bypass and pace maker work, Scampy was right there to cheer up my grandfather in the lonely house. And vice versa when he was in the hospital for cancer. They all live together in that house, I miss Scampy tremendously, but I take comfort in knowing he's still there by their sides, a steadfast and dedicated friend.
All three of them mean the world to me. Scampy is getting old, and they are getting older. It was very strange seeing him this weekend, older, grayer, and slower.
I can still see the puppy in him though, when you talk to him he still cocks his head to one side, listening intently, picking out words that he knows, getting excited when you say "you want" fallowed by "a cookie" or "ta' go out side?" I love my little dog.
I need to get more pictures of him soon. This is him as a puppy, when I found him that rainy day back in 1999', losing his teeth and wiggling, so happy to be out of the cold and out of the busy street. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/201793/

Has it been 13 years my boy? Has it?
If I knew this was the last set of photos I would get of you, I would have stayed that extra night, I would have hugged you and watched TV just a little longer.
If I had known, I would have slept on the sofa with you curled up against me like you loved to do.
Had I known.
I miss you boy.
