I couldn't have done this without my trusty book, "How To Draw Animals" by Jack Hamm. In fact, I have never drawn a lion, or any kind of big cat before. This is done in 8b pencil. I think it's also the cleanest piece I've ever done, I hope it doesn't smudge D: Most of my pencil drawings are hideously smudged. At least I got a photo while it was clean.
