I train dogs. He needs to be able to stretch out. To measure a dog properly for a bed you should have him standing, hold his head up high, measure from head to floor. Then from base of tail to tip of nose and add a foot.
I suppose hes your dog, you may do what you want with him.
But the bed isnt the right size for him.
Hes a lovely GSD mix. What is he mixed with??
