This particular concept album usually does a good job at cheering me up but as a natural born whiner I found a reason to get a tiny bit sad over it this one time :) good times.
I needed to draw something with a lot of stupid details because I find it really relaxing; as a result, the cloth doesn't make much sense and the whole thing just looks really stiff, I guess. I can't say I'm happy with this one, but at the same time I don't feel like I wasted my time working on it either, so here it is.

Yeah! Although with me it's more like I love to work on many details in an area, but then I neglect other parts of the drawing and once I'm done it doesn't look...well, consistent and/or finished haha! I think it's one of those things I need to figure out in order to improve. Thank you so much for the kind words!
This guy is one of Devin Townsend's characters, and he has a whole album dedicated to him (although he also shows up in other projects as well); species-wise, I think he's supposed to be some kind of a space lizard thing, but the whole race is simply referred to as "ziltoidians" :D
