It was one year ago today that my first picture in the Achillesheelart collection made its way into its gallery. This piece was called "Tickle Tiger Style".
I decided to do a sequel that pays homage to the original pictures design with almost identical poses and themes (The difference being that it was the white tiger student being tickled and forced into submission but this time the tables have turned).
This is also the first Sequel I have ever made however to many it will appear to be a stand alone piece.
For a story head to
venombahamut who has written 2 plots to this piece.
One is entirely his http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10133384/
And the other is based on an idea I threw at him last minute http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10133404/
He really has a way with words!
Enjoy ^^

And speaking of the dark side, I remember a picture from a while back that was done by Inumarukun that I think could have been a good sequel to this picture, or maybe to the cruel version of the story. What if the student continued to torture the sensei by doing this to him: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5023468/ Heh Heh!
Wow. Just... wow.
I guess some of all that gushing I did over that pic made it into your head. ;)
You have certainly improved a lot in this past year.
The background is an actual background now, not just windows and a ceiling. The only bad point I'd attribute to it is that it needs more vibrant colors. Right now they're a little too muted.
The mat, particularly, is incredibly drawn. Those bumps and creases formed by their movements are expertly done, and one the edges is almost seems tridimentional.
The clothes also have realistic creases, a detail that goes over many's heads.
The teacher grabbing the student's pants, his blush and his sweat all combine to give him an incredibly desperate look, one I enjoy far too much! ;)
The student also looks appropriately sadistic, though his muzzle looks a bit strange and, honestly, too close to the teacher's in the original piece.
He also needs more hair!
All in all, extremely exceptional piece.
The original is the best tickle pic ever, and this one is a very worthy successor. Probably even outdoes it's ancestor!
See you in a year! :D

*chuckles* Awesome. I could just see a serious lead-up to it. "And now... I will show you the most devastating of holds". ^_^ Man, what a lucky guy the White Tiger is - his opponent has awfully nice footpaws that'd be a joy to watch dancing around right before his snout. ^_^ Now... is there an adaptation of the hold here the White Tiger uses his foot to quite his opponent? ;)
The only bad thing is the cat you just made one pic for the story. I would like a lot of see this scene:
"Pfft.” Ryan rolled his eyes “I can picture you making “wise ancient sensei” poses back there…”
Zack stopped stroking an imaginary beard.
Is the best part, excluding the tickle part!

Cheap! There are no rules in a fight... The trick is to gauge correctly when the rules do in fact apply.
In this instance they clearly do not.
A face pinning will add a nice level of humiliation but remember that the victi...umm opponent still has two arms free enough to foil such plans.

Great work! I was incredibly surprised to see this since I remember the first on on Achilesheelart!
You've really improved with your backgrounds, I really like how the colours are more muted compared to the brighter characters, it really makes the pop.
I also noticed that you gave the two tigers different fur colouring on the undersides of their paws/hands, just like you did with your previous picture. If you don't mind me asking, was this done with the original Tiger Style picture or is this a new style you've taken to? Either way it looks good!

Its all part of my slightly improved style. Im now doing the line work digitally instead of with pens so things should look a little more crisp even when close up.
Apart from a couple of little lighting tricks here and there I find that the main improvements come in because Im no longer working to a deadline (you may noticed some vast improvements with the Athena collection here as well).
The result is that I can stop for a moment and really take a look at my fundamental skills to improve the overall image. Better angles and proportioning will help give the characters a much more sold solid look but Im still working on my over all style.

Better late then never.
Im always willing to wait though as long as you are! I have quite a list of art still to get through but its going to take time to make each stand out as something truly special.
Im hoping Im passed the point of having to worry about correct anatomy so I can concentrate on making the best scenarios while improving on my style.

Haha yeah man, you've surpassed your anatomy skills everytime, keep up the good work ^^
BTW, I'm being a little show-offy right now but I'm curious, those Japanese characters in the back, what do they mean? I know the first one is war/battle, but the second is a bit confusing. do they mean something together or are they separate characters?

Dude, this one so rocks lol. Totally takin' me back to my jiu jitsu days. I'm loving the movement, toes, and how the gi's actually showcase some weight. I'm curious as to if this was based off any specific martial arts style? With the grappling, Gi style, bo staves, and the kanji in the background I would take a guess at Judo or Isshin-ryu Karate. But then I could be looking too much into it lol.
Hahaha nah, I don't think it's a cop out. Who else better to study and master Tiger Style than a tiger. ;)
Pffft it's totally been a total joy to look back through your old work and see how your style evolved. I would have faved/commented on more of your stuff sooner but I've been playing catch-up with all the new faces and galleries on FA.....Well that and I was worried about coming across as too much of a ravening fanboy lol.
