The board next to it explained it as this.
The Mini Moke, originally built in England, was designed to be a light four wheel drive military vehicle for the British in the late 50's. Low ground clearance and poor off road capabilities made it undesirable as a military vehicle. So the decision to produce a civilian version which hit the market in 1964. Moke production moved from England to Australia in 1966 and later to Portugal in 1980. Australian Mokes were fitted with 998cc engine, and like all Mini Mokes shared the same basic component as the Mini Cooper. About 50,000 were built from 64 and 93. 26,000 in Australia alone.
Personal note: Apparently the British didn't learn from the Jeep created during WWII. That little thing was suppose to be a military vehicle?

This thing has sort of a golf cart/beach cart vibe. Not a mil spec vibe.
Now, this big bruiser https://www.furaffinity.net/view/8562389/ could be wearing neon orange or pink polka dots and still look like it's trying to blend in with its surroundings.
