One of my favorite memories of Portland was the accommodating cycling facilities; When the weather was good, I'd commute from the northeast to my job downtown with little difficulty. The Broadway bridge was good for reaching Powell's directly through the Pearl, or I could zip down the floating ramp onto the Eastbank Esplanade and ride it all the way to the southeast. Used bikes were enormously popular. After days of chasing Craigslist postings for suitably large bikes that would get scooped up before I could respond, I spent an afternoon refreshing the webpage until I pounced on a blue Panasonic from the early 80's. I miss that bike.
This is an illustration for Portland's first furry convention, Furlandia, featuring their red fox character. I don't know if I'll be able to attend (I live on the east coast now,) but I hope it's a big success!

Good work; the only Portland I've ever been to is the one in Maine, about 90 miles from me.
