A comparison contrast on my LP Standard. I like the Neck pickup for classic music like this.
After work I'll upload the same riff, but played with a pick.
I like using my fingers as it allows me more control over the tone, but I still have a long ways to go before I become a really good player... =^^;
Ugh, I botch intro intro and outro so bad it is embarrassing! I still need to work on finger picking on the upstroke, that would have made the individual notes a LOT smoother.
Did I mention how much I love my Mustang III amp? =^^=

That is true, I've been tempted to grab something. A friend has an '80's Squier tele that was made in Japan. That thing has ruined me for all the modern stuff! =^^=
