Something I started a while ago and only just got around to finishing today. I'm happy with how it turned out, though. :) This is pretty much exactly how I imagined the scene.

Lorelei is the main character in Eclipse, a native of the snowy port town of Siurvenna. The people of Siurvenna favour cremation over burial, and often push the dead out to sea on burning boats... it's all a bit Viking-esque, I guess. ;)
