Ouch, that blows. I once sliced my left index finger to the bone carving a pumpkin when I was a kid.
I think I nicked a tendon or something, since I can lock that finger up this really weird way I can't do with any other finger. Still perfectly functional, fortunately.
Used to be terrified of knives, but now I'm quite fond of them strangely.
