You know, I don't do enough drawings of my fursona... so I've went ahead and did a self portrait of my alter ego.
Even though I was going for something that shows some kind of nobility, I've decided that drawing me in my usual Egyptian theme would be too expected. Therefore I've tried to mimic portrait painting of the High Itallian Renaissance... several obvious cues taken from the Mona Lisa in particular.
Small bits and pieces has meaning in the piece, the ankh of course is pagan. The golden apple of course is a discordian symbol, simply because I like little alternative religions like that. The apple also is ment to respesent a the gay (forbidden fruit). There's also a "Rimpala is Dead" clue but you'll have to know Latin...

The problem with the "forbidden fruit" is that it became a non-mainstream orientation with the rise of Christianity... and since we are lately (finally) returning to Roman standards, it's not much of a forbidden fruit anymore...
Though what REALLY bugs me...

That drive to be thoughtfull is the main reason I only upload a few drawings a month anymore XD
