I've found the easiest way to paint is to get all the colors you want down, then detail as much as you can for the remainder of the time. It's definitely doable! :)

hell no! Please don't! :D The colors aren't too vibrant, moreso I was admiring how well they work together and how lovely and painterly it is!

I would love to publish an art book at some point... I feel I'd really like to do some more fantasy/fairy tale-oriented personal art before going down that road (I was also toying with the idea of a cheaper "sketch diary" type thing in the meantime... filled with WIPs and more limited color stuff). I have plenty of ideas I'm writing down, and if you have suggestions I'd love to hear them. :)

The problem with art books is the initial investment, but I guess now we have kickstarter? :D But tldr; I'm definitely working towards that, and I think within a few years I'll have a big enough body of work that it'd be a pretty good compilation.

An art book is something I want to do in the future (I'm working on a lot of original/fantasy/fairy tale stuff on my own for portfolio reasons, which I feel would give the book a wider appeal). If you have any ideas you'd like to see me draw or experiment with, please let me know!
