The Mjusi are the middle class, and they hold this well above the Jangwa. Though they were conquered with the Jangwa, they are gleeful of the fact that they have done better under human rule than their old enemies. They are an island folk, homeland a chain of islands not far from the coast, and that fact is still reflected in their clothing choices. Many spurn the extravagant fashions of humans for their lighter weight wraps and modified wetsuits, but a good number have adopted the Victorian fashion in an attempt to assimilate toward the higher class. These tend to be shopkeepers and the like, while those who work in more manual jobs keep their traditional clothing.
Mjusi tend to be taller (avg 6.5ft) and much more muscled than their human and Jangwa counterparts, thanks to their rigorous aquatic life. They are typically the strongest of the three species, though they cannot climb well and require far more water than the other two. The jobs of Mjusi are well varied...
