I've airbrushed my red tail, and I am currently amassing some black foam spines to affix to it. After the spines are on, I will add some thick painted scales, then some belly scales (thinkin' orange). Bright sunlight and image compression killed the colors in this thing! The tip is a deeper wine color, and the fade to yellow is very pretty.

This tail is much smaller and more lightweight than my previous tail! It barely feels like I'm wearing anything. While it's not as long and elegant, it is a much more practical size for a tail. Speaking of my previous tail, I am planning on doing some surgery on it. It needs to be shortened and angled differently, and also have some of the foam hollowed out to decrease the weight.

I plan on selling this when it is finished, but I am unsure of how much to sell it for. I've been a bad girl and haven't been keeping tabs on time and money on materials spent, so I'll have to do some number crunching later so I don't short myself. If anyone has any ideas for a price point I'd love to hear 'em.
