I see what you mean and I'm not denying what you're saying is true, however this is something i've been wanting to try for a while. If it fails then the worst that would happen is the best of my work just sits in my hard drive.
I understand my paws are no where near the calibur of work that quintonquill can do. Still, the thing you can have going for you is style. Some people may like the more cartoonier looks. Some may like more anthro or feral. It's all up to a person's tastes.

It's not about style. I don't find you have the skill nor the technique to sell them like this.
Besides that, even from a business perspective, you're appealing to furry male foot tickling fetishists who are willing to pay for pics like this AND have the funds/ability to do so.

I think people are starting to get the wrong idea. This is not the final image but i'm wondering if I should now do final image samples instead of just the flats. Yeah looking in my gallery there is nothing in it that says i'm an outstanding artist, nor the credibility to do something like this. Yeah maybe the best thing is to just focus on commissions and save the packs for later.

Though at this stage you can't fix the perspective, proportions and anatomy errors present in the pic with more details or shading, not without redrawing it.

sensitive scalies
around the world
Prisoners of War (POW)
Ticklish and Tickling Thieves
But i'm also thinking maybe i'll combine some of the species specific packs with other packs cause i'm thinking maybe species specific may not be a good idea. people may want a variety of species you know so I may change that in the future.

Your main issue is preventing leaks like how my stuff from Achillesheelart eventually made its way onto other sites.
On the + side you get the most brutally honest feedback from places were everyone is anonymous so it makes for an entertaining and informative read.

yeah. venombahamut made a good point though. I may submit the final version of this along with a few more samples since I don't have anything in my gallery that really shows off what this pack may potentially be made of.
So until I build up credibility think this will be my only pack for a long long time.

I personally just like doing free stuff as long as its all my own material (I consider art a hobby after all).
I would even go as far as to expect people to be pissed if I started blurring things out for those who weren't willing to pay for it and that's taking my own current credibility into consideration.
With commissions on the other hand you have a tried and tested formula for making money based on the never ending demand for personalised art.
Still don't let any of this put you off until you have tried it. For all we know you may have struck gold in a niche that desperately needs/wants material?
