Thats a lot of nice detail along it, which is always fun to draw and shade and stuff. But have you considered blacking the whole shape out to see what its silhouette looks like? It might be that everything ends up looking a bit too smooth, and the details a bit too small.

really I was going for two things: Simple yet interesting to look at and functionality.

Mainly the commissioner wanted something that other artists could mimic without having mass amounts of complicated details, but also wanted it to look unique and interesting and above everything else function realistically in battle.

//probably// made it too complicated in design for most artists to really achieve the same look now that I think about it though xD

dude, i can already tell I WANT THAT!!! looks very Skyrim, if you ask me...the armor and the guy in it...he almost looks like an Argonian geeko...or however those things have their name spelled...i dont know...still, love it! :3

Actually it's an Iskar from Everquest! and I HAVE to admit I DEFINITELY got some inspiration from skyrim armor (specifically the Nordic carved armor)

it makes me reaaallly glad to hear that though. I just hope it also looks good with color thrown on it hahaha
