From another semi developed world setting. Three ends up in a world that is a sort of service hub in the path of a lot of planetary travel. The world itself is low on resources but gets enough through trade that it functions well enough. There's colonies like this that serve the various landing and refueling stations and everywhere else is poisonous jungle or wasteland. Three does random work in one of the colonies while she tries to decide whether she wants to stay where she is in a world that's dead, or if she wants to risk setting out into the unknown and seeing what else there is to be seen.
