In the pursuit of learning to draw better, I decided to sketch something different today. And that would be a fox head based on this image here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped.....zzy_Freddy.jpg
It's supposed to be a fox. Whether or not it turns out looking like that, I suppose it's up to whoever sees this. I'm no fox expert, so I can't say.
I did a number of things differently this time. Mainly, instead of just sketching an outline, I drew the fur instead and let that shape the image. That was mostly because with all the fur I couldn't determine a good outline anyways. However, there is nothing wrong with trying something new, right?
Though, one goal was to be able to learn the forms of a fox head. Did I learn that? I don't know. I think I may have concerned myself too much with the fur to actually study the forms. Plus I got lazy towards the end with the ears and top of the head. Oh, well. It's still practice, and that's what counts.
Took me...3 hours, because of all the fur. Fucking fur, takes fucking forever. And I just love how alliterative that sentence was. Anyways, yeah.
