Always a pleasure to work with derecho. He likes an emphasis on motion, and frantically flapping fabrics, which may be one of my favourite things to render. I thought black and white sold the sketch best.

Man you call this a sketch. This is great. Facial detail and expression is amazing, but I think I admire the left hand the most, despite the hazy style of your art it still is perfectly clear how the hand is positioned and held. Feel like I need to at least be in art school to critique your work without sounding like a bafoon :I
Nice work. I agree about the black and white choice. Adds a lot of emotion to the piece. Plus I think all the black really does a good job of keeping things a little abstract/ambiguous. I don't see Shadow of the Colossus this time, but I do think it looks like he's floating along, submerged in water. Am I making things up again?
