This is fucking gorgeous. The texture and the colours and the atmosphere together are all just. Wuagh. And I really like the words, too. Nothing wrong with getting rage out through art. It often makes for gorgeous art.

I can't help it... I always seem to gravitate to the pretty straightforward color scheme of blue andorange. It works, but it's still straightforward. :/

Heh, I still haven't tried any of painter's pattern tools. Right now I'm fascinated by the liquid ink tools... That stuff looks almost as anatural as the real deal.

Uhm... streaks? Do you mean those on the head, tail and hand? Those are liquid ink, and I'm still not done experimenting with them, so there'll be more of them. :]
Yes, I suppose I'll post a couple more, though they'll probably won't be good... I can't seem to be in control of anything lately - fell into this rage after attempting Circulating's request; man, did I make a hideous monstrosity out of what should've been a tranquil and beautiful deer (not posting it, don't ask). :D

I've played with the liquid inks a while back, especially since I discovered the joys of owning an intuos which the tilt and rotation lets you make some interesting spatters. Too bad liquid ink has to be on its own layer, and from what I remember Jin saying is that you shouldn't use impasto while in liquid ink XD (I don't think I did that, but I know it crashes if you try).

Just when I think I know Painter there is a lot of things and potential in that program you never realized before. I think you have that "Gotta customize a brush stage" "I found a new tool stage" and now I'm messing with papers and patterns.

Heheh. I avoid impasto alltogether. I don't like how fake it looks. Maybe when I find a way to use it, i'll be hooked at that. Yes, It's amazing just how many possibilities the app offers... it's an inexhaustible tool. And it's amazing what combining painter with other apps can give you. (Andrew Jones is lately experimenting with combining painter and zbrush, so i heard, but i'm not completely sure; and i remember combining painter and artrage was rather usual about a year or two back.)

Im digging the texture you got going on! The sharpness of the texture
and strokes emphasize the "rage/anger/distress" mood, but the blue contrast with the red,
suggests the anguish/angst. Colour says a lot! Your pro at the balance of it. Love it.
