Blending some features from an older feral Kyrik (who looks like some kind of elder dragon with all those plates) with the newer smoother scaled variety, we have now this fascinating compromise of scale and plates, keeping a sleek body with a little added protection for those rough days at sea.

Twilightsaint has some of the most majestic wing designs I've seen, and it was a real treat to see them stretched out in both this and the anthro work commissioned.
