I love the way you do gator heads! It looks so real. A very good study I should say. As to doing the scales? Well that takes a "lot" of work. I've tried that myself in one of my very early gator-head pieces. It's tough. I can't wait to see what you come up with though.

Drawing out the scales and rough looking look hide has always been tough for me to do too. The ironic thing is, is that a few hours after I posted this, I think that I may have figured out how to draw out the rough hide of the back and neck area, so thats something that I'll start drawing in.
