Shandra's overly serious Mother. Despite no longer being married to her ex-husband, Bill. She chosen to keep her ex-husband's family name since her and her relatives never had a family name. Grew up only speaking her species language and being free labor on a cotton farm when she was able to walk and understand commands during her childhood. This 53 year old really don't have a positive outlook on life. Total opposite of her ex.
I had ALLOT to type up. But I don't want to put too much. Especially since she JUST appeared in Shandra 19. All I can say is, she's a force not to be messed with. She's cold on the outside. But deep down, she does have a heart. So if your able to get her to smile, or chuckle, that's a good sign your on her good side for the moment. Try to keep it that way.

My goodness, she looks formidable, loved the way she mopped the floor with those two *people* in the office

I do have one question... When are you going to post more?

Heh, not sure why I want to blame him. :-P Hehehe, I know, joke.
But yeah, she's formidable and gorgeous. :-D
Well, I usually type them when inspiration kicks in and I am able to come up with a goal. Though I must admit, the last few stories I typed did not go in the directions where I wanted them to for "That" particular story. But they worked so well for the story as is that I felt they where good enough. Well, okay, the last story (Shandra 19) I meant to do something totally different. I am actually trying to see if I can still use the first 7 to 8 pages I took out of Shandra 19 since the story some how went right into what you see now. So out of all the stories I done, I only have 2 stories sitting the back burner, waiting for me to continue it. Or totally start from the beginning. Heck, from story 3 all the way up till recent I typed them up in the back of my sleeper in my 18 wheeler after having a whole day day dreaming about it while driving for 11 hours. IF things work out with finding work near home in Arlington (once I fly back to Arlington, WA), I may have more time to type at home.
OH well, glad you like them so far. And Seth showed me links to your stories. I meant to read them. And I plan to. They look interesting. I just been way to busy working on my sister's house here in Indianapolis since the end of last month. Heh, so........yeah. I am really glad you like them.

nodnod as a fellow writer, i know all too well what it's like when a story doesn't go where you originally planned. Dynamic characters can be like that. just read Open Season, ( http://www.bibp.com/beartales/brows.....ories&id=1 ) [Yeah yeah, shameless plug] i felt more like a stenographer at times.
i originally wrote it longhand filling over ten 50 page canary tablets (twelve, if you count the miscellaneous notes and stray ideas that went into it.) as i can write faster than i can type and the scenes were playing out to fast to type up.
it must be better than i thought as it has spawned =Two= fan fics so far. Glad you took a look any feedback is more than welcomed [and yes there is a writers guide for anyone who wants to come play in the "Coonaverse" :P ]
I am here in Seattle so you aren't too far away.(once you get back home that is) drop me a pm and perhaps if you find yourself in town, we can meet for coffee.

Muhahaha, wow, sounds like you had it more organized than I did. The first few stories where done on the fly. Though I must admit, nowadays....if I have a hit of inspiration, I can do a story in 5 hours. Though the very first story took me many months to complete.
Hehe, wow, all I can say is that is very good. Having it loved that much to have fans start typing up their own visions of your imagination. Heh, I'll be surprised if that ever happens to the world I made up. Then again I feel I may upset some writers with how complicated the universe I made up.
Heh, maybe we can meet up. Not sure yet, since I'll be strapped for cash. Though I am glad I already paid for the insurance on my car along with doing most of the repairs myself last time I was there in November. So we'll see. I used to avoid Seattle like the plague. Nowadays, as long I am not in a Semi, I am perfectly fine driving in there with my car.

well, first thing i would suggest is create a writer's guide th the 'Shandra-verse' [or whatever you wish to call it] with a basic list of your rules for those who want to come and play there.
example: "No Avians in the coonaverse". as miss mab once said "Beaks give bad head" can't argue with that one, the writers guide is in the fanfic section
as to the charge of being "organized" it was written as a series of "visits" events stringing themselves together. i had to decide what went where when i took the 18 days to enter it all into the WP
no rush there i understand the strapped for cash thing so lets play it by ear. it would be fun to meet and chat about writing and other pastimes who knows where that could lead, muses have a tendency to ambush one when you least expect it (and it's most inconvenient)
