I have never met a person with so many ideas exploding in his head one after another.

I have always been in love with Eastern art. Eastern dragon seemed like a logical step on my way through furry art. And since Rip wanted one, I jumped in :)
What started as an idea for a sketch page, ended as reference sheet for the new character: Reina Thole-Set. Thanks to spending lots of time chatting online, I believe I got to know Rip good enough, to give shape to his ideas quite fast. We agreed on the initial sketch fast, and I could proceed to linearting. And then I thought that it would be fun to have her scales change size gradually. Obviously - I didn't know what I was saying...
Drawing scales took pretty much time, but I am extremely satisfied with how she looks thanks to the effort.

Thank gods I asked if she should have hair on her tail, before I started doing scales...

Dress design and coloring was a walk in the park compared to scales ;)
