I posted a journal about it.
But the idea behind these is for married folks who are happily taken, and not looking.
I've spoke to several furs who have been made to feel poorly after being hit on because they were married and the other party didn't know.
This is a clear marker of a married fur, without the worry of a ring being lost, stolen, or damaged!
These can be for engaged, or just dating furs as well!

I think it's a shame that there should be a need for this. But it is a good design--instantly recognisable as wedding rings and the interlocking I interpret as "closed". Unfortunately, a lot of people have trouble taking the hint, and they are probably the ones who most need it.
Yeah, I don't expect it to stop everyone.
But I think its just more helpful.
I've had some very nice men come chat with me, not looking for "Play" right away, but rather chatting me up. Some have been looking to possibly make more out of the friendship, because I don't wear my wedding ring at cons, and were polite, but disappointed to find out I was taken.
Thats who this is for, so no one gets their hopes up.
The creeps will likely ignore it sadly, but thats what my big Irish husband is for!

And I totally agree.
You know, that life style works for some, he'll Im married, and have a play partner, but only them, ever.
I'm poly and CLOSED....and some don't get that.
I hope these are a good, kind way of letting folks know that I get all my lovin at home ;)

Tom(the other Draffectionate using this account) and I, would probably need those if we were furries (having sonas doesn't make us furries, right?), or I'd got aggressive towards those freaks from this community. We're not officially married yet (it's just a document to us, making love bonded us forever, not a piece of paper), but we're like married.
Trying to 'yiff' with everybody, disrespecting others' relationships is just... barbaric I bet those sickos need some treatment and social lessons before they open their mouth and zipper again.
