This^ Amon, you better not end up a hostage hanging over Luther's head. Please, don't.
They're so sweet together. Knowing Luther's back-story, just makes me care for him so much. And Amon is obviously good for him, as Luther is seeking him out as a comfort in his distress.

But Amon.... Oh.... Jackal... Right. He's just so lean and lithe, and those big ears of his..... *Lesigh* Foxy hasn't read the comic in too long. He's forgotten his basics!
And I'm not talking about Klaus. I'm talking about the little Honey of a Fox that Lord Denholme hired to satisfy Luther's "urges" while at the estate over the winter months.

Oh, I hope it's not that simple. Either Amon doesn't know the drill yet or he is misreading Luther's body language. The place does look conspicuously empty, lending to the sinister feel of the last few panels. Luther needs distraction. Not sweet talk, not sex. Distraction. Luther has pent up rage from the things he has experienced and needs a channel to vent out his frustration. He can't take it out on his crew, so he goes to the one person he can take it out on. Amon had better provide some distraction or..... I get the distinct feeling that Amon is thisclose to being sodomized with a broomstick.

Lol, yeah, that's a little severe. Luther is actually not at all prone to hurting his lovers. He's very dominant, but he's more prone to going emotionally over the top than physically.
He visits courtesans and the like to relax. The sex is pretty secondary, especially since he doesn't actually HAVE sex with prostitutes any more.

I'm gonna disagree. I think it has more to do with Amon's offer of staying the night. We all know that he'd love to do it, but really can't. At least, not in his mind. So hearing the offer from Amon probably took him off guard a little bit. Plus, it probably brings up other memories.
hey rukis, I have a sincere question for you: I am trying very hard to put my foot in the door per say to doing comics and I just seem lost.(beginners luck I guess) A friend of mine recommended I talk to you, your red lantern comic is both well known as well as skillfully craft in plot and artistry. could you give me some advice on beginning one, I can't even seem to get the panels right! ha ha!
I do SO believe him. I always sleep like a baby when my dog sleeps in my bed. Warm and fluffy. I used to have trouble sleeping, but he completely cured that.
Amon is bigger, fluffier, and i'm sure he gives one hell of a massage...and he has "other" benefits. i think i'd book him for each and every night of the rest of my life :D Most comfortable sleeping ever.

An overnight stay proooobably wouldn't be a good idea.... Luther could quite easily hurt Amon if his nightmares coincided with any kind of touch/movement against him in his sleep.
Johannes is already proof* of the affect PTS (post traumatic stress) has on someone, Hopefully Luther will have learned by example, or he may find himself learning from experience.
*In-universe of course, unfortunately PTS isn't that hard to come by in real life....
