I have become increasingly unhappy with how my Pop-out bottle cap sculptures look. The old design with just the head and some feet sticking out not only looked kind of weird on certain characters, but also limited me greatly on poses and personality of each character. So, I've decided to re-design them a bit! A bit more of the body shows now, and I can play around with poses a little more. This is much closer to what I had initially envisioned when I first started making these bottle cap sculptures. :)

My Welsh springer spaniel character gets to be the guinea pig, of course, as she was the first character I ever sculpted in a bottle cap. You can see the original button here:

Sadly, I lost her along with several other pieces of jewelry on a plane flight a few months ago. :( So I'm excited that I have a new one to wear, now!

Leilia is sculpted from Super Sculpey/Sculpey Firm polymer clay inside a bottle-cap, painted with acrylics, and glazed for protection. A pin backing is attached to the back so she can be displayed in many places!
