Inspired by something that I showed to
 icansee and
Nidonocu on SecondLife. The Robot Sanitarium - a facility for insane robots. And allegedly organics who will soon become robots.
Had to use
Nidonocu 's naming scheme for the mouse robot. :P
NOT intended as an actual portrayal of mental health procedures - for that you watch stuff like One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest.

I don't think, digitigrade mode, needs any better than description than what you gave there since digitigrade is something anyone who has looked up stuff about all kind of animals should know about, which I would think includes most furries, and as of right now if you Google digitigrade the first result is a wikipedia article for it and the second result is a wikifur article for it.

Roo's aren't digitigrade tho. All i'm saying is that you shouldn't have to stop and look something up when reading something. Technically, anthro's shouldn't have digi legs at all, since it would require that they walk hunched over while using their forepaws for support. It's just easier to avoid mentioning the specific anatomy in general unless you're willing to take the time to come up with a decent description. Didn't mean to make a big stink about it tho. The story is great.

Actually in Winds of change, they did have anthros with digitigrade legs that assessed that issue about how they hunched over a little more or rather, leaned forward a lot.
I actually parodied that in that old WoC story of mine where a bully sneaks up on a guy with digi-feet... and gently gives him a nudge in the back to knock him over. XD

Actually, kangaroos are plantigrade. That's what was bugging me about it.
"Humans are an example of a plantigrade species. Other plantigrade species include (but are not limited to) raccoons, opossums, bears, rabbits, kangaroos, mice, red pandas, rats, hyraxes, skunks, hedgehogs and wolverines. "

Roo's can stand up, they need to hunch forward and hop to move, however, since they are unable to move their legs independently of one another, and they are unable to walk backwards. Both legs move forward in unison. Generally, unless they're hopping half or full speed most roo's crouch down and pull themselves forward with their forearms while pushing with their back legs (it's why roo male biceps look so buff).
Pushing a wheelchair would totally be doable for a roo. You'd have a bit of a ride, though.
