A sample character for Tales of Final Fantasy, a gnoll knight. In ToFF they can either be jackal-like or hyena-like in form, this one is a more gracile example from the desert continent of Savarra.

Hmm, I am guessing in 9 and 14 they look quite detailed as those are 3D graphics already. Do you have any screenshots of them maybe? I am kinda building up an "anthro reference" database as a resource for furry artists, from cartoons, games, comics, anime... I have some sprites of the anthros from the early FF games as the wikis had them, but the later games are not as throughly set up on the wiki.
The wikis have a few decent screenshots I can link you from FF9, as well as scans of the concept art:

That was one of the reasons I gave the ToFF gnolls regional dimorphism, since there were those in the series that were closer to classic hyena-like gnolls, and those that had more gracile jackal-like forms (which also leaves an option for a more werewolf-like gnoll if you argue that it had both a jackal-like and hyena-like parent).
[Edit] I read the female qualifier after I typed this, so I'll specify that with the exception of Lamia, none of the listed monsters are expressly female.
Well as you said there are the rat people (the dark-furred Burmecians and the light-furred Cleyrans).
Sahuagin (also sahagin, and various other spellings) have shown up in almost every game, they're fish/toad/kappa-like depending on the iteration.
Rakshasa/Weretiger was in FF1 as a furred humanoid with a green or brown tiger head.
Lamia (FF2 onwards) is sometimes a snake with a scaled human torso and a serpentine head, though in other depictions she has a human female upper half.
Bovian in a minotaur-like monster from FF3, translated also as bullman.
Bugbears/Gold bears in FF3 are very much anthropomorphic bears, though in FF6 gold bears are merely gold-furred bears.
Lizardman (exactly what you'd expect) also appears in FF3 as well as FF9.
Mind flayers in FF4 and 5 are cephalpoid anthros, though they also appear (infrequently) in later games, often as hidden difficult enemies.
Gaelicat/cait sith are small anthropomorphic cats in FF5 (though Cait is a party member in FF7 - but he's also a robot, so...).
Wererats (FF6) state in their entry that they're half man, half rat, but the sprite (which it shares with wild rat) suggests more of a dire rat than anthro rat. Your call.
The Dreamhare genus in FF12 contains small bipedal and (arguably) intelligent fey rabbits, but that might be stretching it. The Behemoth genus are all bipedal, bestial giantkin, mostly resembling monstrous wolves or hyenas.

Thanks for the details! Yeah I guess then I knew about most of these from browsing the wikis. Apart from Mindflayers, surprised they can use them... thought they were D&D's copyright. Sahuagin are open liscense though since even Pathfinder has them.
Are any of the snake-headed lamiae female? Got any pics of those?

All lamias are female (it's the nature of the monster) and the ones from FF11, Tactics Advance, Crystal Chronicles and FF9 (ish...) are snake-headed or at least definitely not human-headed:

Thanks! Yeah I see now I have seen the F11 ones but they still have a human shaped head just with a hood.
But the FFTA/CC ones look really nice and have a proper snake head! Never heard of these games though (as they are not numbered) - what platforms are they for?
