Xander is a world-wary, nomadic fruit bat with an obsession over citrus fruits. He's knowledgable and quick to criticise, not to mention completely useless in a fight, but deep down (deep, deep, deep down) he has a heart of gold.

With this adventure thing inspired by classic 3D platform games, I felt that the "hero" needed a sidekick. A companion to guide him through the world. Banjo had Kazooie, Jak had Daxter, Ratchet had Clank - someone to share the adventure.
