Here's a duct tape mockup of a possible paint job for my street hockey mask. I got the mask used off ebay and the original decals and paint are pretty rough so I thought I'd see if I could tiger it up a bit. After looking online at professionally airbrushed tiger masks I realized that those masks were well beyond my skill level so it's time to lower my expectations.

So here's the Ben-10 Rath inspired paint job on my Itech street hockey mask. Rath is already so stylized that he's only partly tigerific but his angular features almost work on the mask. I'll probably mess around with the lines a bit in photoshop to see if I want to change the lines around a bit but it's a start at least.

I'm not 100% satisfied with it but for a few hours work on a Sunday I think it looks way better than the scratched up Bruins stickers that it is covering. I'll have to wait for the warmer weather to get here before I can mix up some paint and spray it but as a concept I think it might work. Plus it will match my outdoor pads now.

They're hard to see but I've got foam teeth behind the cage on the bottom as well, they actually look like Brak's teeth from Spaceghost.
