Another excerpt from the ongoing Insularis project that I'm working on with Shastacat. This particular story is a late Medieval fairy tale, which is now taught to young Lupines (the dominant species of Insularis), as a warning against debt, although when it first appeared, some 400 years ago, it was actually a piece of propaganda against the sun-troph species, at the time when they were forcibly enslaved.
