Hmm... Might not be as extinct as most scientists think...

There may be a few lions, especially those that live in the sub-Saharan regions of Africa that might bare the genes of Barbary lions, and some folks are wondering if these lions could be used some day to possibly revive the species.

Amazing work, your skill with colored pencils is astounding, it shows so much detail in the furry texture, the sheen in the hair, the illusion of volume in the muscles and depth in the distant mountains. Keep up the good work!

allow me to add that there is a small population of barbary lions scattered about in various zoos, like the zoo of Stuttgart, germany.
